woollahra

nsw, australia

This Victorian terrace is in a narrow street in Woollahra, and is home to a family of 4.  The design evolved through the briefing process: from a third bedroom in the attic, to an extensive reworking of the entire house; providing fewer, well-proportioned and functional spaces with good seperation, and maximising natural light.  The result is an eminently liveable family home which is surprisingly spacious, can respond to the seasons, and makes maximum use of limited space.
